How is cost per booked job calculated?

Cost per lead = monthly spend divided by new leads. Cost per booked appointment = monthly spend divided by appointments booked from those leads. Cost per won job or deal = monthly spend divided by the jobs you win from them.

Old leads have already been paid for, so appointments booked from them carry no extra lead cost. The blended figure shows this month's spend divided by appointments from new and old leads together.

Setterly works the old-lead side for you by two-way AI text. You pay per booked appointment, with no setup fee and no retainer. See how pay per appointment compares.

    Frequently asked questions

What is cost per booked job?

Your total lead and marketing spend divided by the jobs you actually win from it. It includes every lead that never answered, never booked or didn't buy.

What's the difference between cost per lead and cost per booked appointment?

Cost per lead is spend divided by leads. Cost per booked appointment is spend divided by appointments that actually got booked, which is usually several times higher because many leads never book.

    Why include old leads?

Leads you already paid for have no extra lead cost. Any appointments booked from them lower your blended cost per booked job.

Is the old-lead booking rate a Setterly forecast?

No. It's your assumption. Results vary by trade, lead age and data quality. Our published case studies are UK campaigns and show what happened for those businesses.

    How does Setterly charge?

You pay per booked appointment. There is no setup fee and no retainer. CRM integration is optional and carries a one-off fee.
